We’re thrilled to have been part of the first-ever dtec.bw Jahrestagung on the 17th and 18th of September 2024 at the Bundeswehr University in Munich. This event gave us the perfect opportunity to present our project Fab City – Decentralized digital production for urban value creation. As part of the larger dtec.bw program, the project is focused on promoting digital transformation and innovation, aiming to revolutionize urban production by fostering decentralized, local manufacturing using advanced digital fabrication technologies.
Professor Wulfsberg introduced our project during his presentation, and throughout the event, our team and partners engaged with visitors at our stand. We had the chance to showcase our key OpenLabs: the OpenLab Mobile, OpenLab Microfactory, OpenLab MedTec, and the OpenLab Starter Kit. These innovations captured the audience’s imagination and highlighted the possibilities of local, sustainable production.
We are incredibly grateful to our fantastic team, partners, and to have been part of this inspiring event. We’re looking forward to next year’s dtec.bw Jahrestagung and continuing to push the boundaries of urban value creation and sustainability.
