OpenLab Port and OpenLab Mobile as exhibitors at the homePORT Festival
On 22.06.2023, the annual prototyping & tech festival HOMECOMING HOMEPORT took place in the port of Hamburg with over 300 guests – and we were there. This year, the focus was particularly on the topics of decarbonisation & circular economy, the potential of mobile sensor technology for the Hanseatic city & the port, as well as digital manufacturing methods.
Under the motto Digital Manufacturing in the Port Industry, we were very pleased to be able to experience 3D printing with open source hardware directly on site together with the OpenLab Mobile and the OpenLab Port on the homePORT site.
In the OpenLab Mobile we had the pleasure of welcoming the First Mayor of the City of Hamburg Peter Tschentscher and Managing Director of the Hamburg Port Authority Jens Meier, here in conversation with Tobias Redlich and Dr Jürgen Glaser about local production in the maritime sector (see photos).
